      ~Livable wage assuming you are a single adult with no dependents and are willing to share housing in cheap neighborhoods New union just dropped

      Cons

      No dental insurance No vision insurance Wage is too low for 1. the importance of PhD candidates to institutional function 2. being a leading university in an expensive metropolitan area
