Pros

Pretty good benefits. The best tuition benefit at a university, but must take classes at BU. Good work life balance. Depends on which area of the university you work in though.

Cons

Huge- 9000+ employees, can feel more like a big corporation than a university. Still figuring out its plan to retain employees. Salaries lower than other local universities.

Pros

Office culture is very casual; everyone is available to answer questions; not a high pressure situation; very flexible with respect to work.

Cons

The office environment can sometimes be too casual; monotonous work; constant work flow; commute to anywhere in the city is rough.
