Pros

Working with residents was (mostly) wonderful, and my coworkers and lower management were mostly great. Great perks (free housing and food!) in exchange for modest time commitment.

Cons

Upper management could be very uptight. While demands on employees' time were modest, they were extremely inflexible and often arbitrary.
