A once great company is completely lost...

Pros

The benefits are decent. The nature of the place gives you a good fitness education and inspires you to work out. There's a mostly empty gym available to employees 24/7. The employees work hard, but the culture is still laid back.

Cons

The biggest problem with this place has got to be the leadership (or what's left of it). They've had opportunity after opportunity to make good decisions that propel the company forward, but just can't seem to make good choices. They make false promises, and can't stick to a plan. They don't listen to what the customers want, and have allowed their once great reputation to dissolve away. This is a dying company, and no longer a place to grow a career. It might be a good bridge job, but I wouldn't bet my future on it. They also recently sold HQ to another company and have lost ownership of most of the building. It's not really a place you want to be at 40hrs a week.

Pros

Friends, Gym, Everything you ever wanted to know about fitness, nutrition and supplementation.

Cons

zero-tolerance policy (Was talked to once and fired on the spot after 4 years, beware of RATS) open-cubicle environment, lack of leadership, corporate stronghold, no coffee provided for employees...I repeat, NO COFFEE PROVIDED, K-Cups are too 'expensive'

Death throes of a dynasty

Pros

Corporate gym, above average (but declining) benefits. Likely an attractive acquisition target and the new owners may treat you better or at least offer a decent severance package.

Cons

Since the dismissal of the company founder BBCom has gone through multiple CEOs, each taking a different angle to right the clearly sinking ship. Many managers cannot be trusted and leadership is completely opaque. The only reliable thing from leadership is that they'll break nearly every promise made. Top-down communication is non-existent. Promised 360 reviews never materialized after an initial rollout, likely because the reviews of management were so negative and rather than facing reality they chose to ignore clear signs of incompetence and mismanagement. HR is in shambles. The company can't hire quality talent or even conduct a decent exit interview. Bro-culture still runs the show. Women need not apply unless you're slim, pretty and keep opinions to yourself.
