Lots of opportunity if you can find a niche, people really do want to do the best science and what is best for patients.

Cons

Ill defined roles leads to toxic turf wars and junior staff used in political fights of upper management. Neuro is risky and Biogen doesn't have the long-term revenue to keep all these programs afloat. Upper management is laser focused on short-term profits and operating expenses.

Great medical, dental, vision, etc. Company 401k match is 6%. 4 week sabbatical after 6 years of service.

Cons

Lots of changes over the last 6 months. Massive layoffs have led to the dissolution of certain functions and former initiatives. This has left huge gaps in the work we do without the people or resources to get this work done.
