Pros

I would say that if you get a manager who invests in you and helps you build your hard and soft skills, takes advantage of it, and takes it seriously! Hence, you can leverage those skills later on at another company. The Big 5 is good for college students, as they offer very flexible work schedules. This job is for young adults from 18 to 23. A stepping stone into the world if you take it seriously. You're what you make of this job.

Cons

Misleading promotions, confusing promotions, and coupon exclusions. Systems are not up to date with current times, and constantly have to conduct price audits. A lot of cons with this company from a managerial perspective that need to be addressed by the top management at the corporate level.

Pros

25% employee discount Sometimes nice coworkers

Cons

Supervisors are old men that dislike poc, piercings, tattoos and Big 5 is very anti anti depressants. If big 5 anywhere finds out you are on anti depressants you will be fired.
