Pros

I really enjoyed the friendly environment of the workers and flexibility of management. The training was superb and I had opportunity to be part of a great working team. Overall, my experience working at Big 5 was a good one.

Cons

The condition of the store was slightly below acceptable. I also didn't like how the lunch breaks and 10 minute breaks were supposed to suffice for every four hour shift. At times there wasn't enough employees to assist in the busy flow of customer service.

Pros

Good coworkers, management willing to give feedback, flexible with time off and scheduling. Perfect job if you are completing school.

Cons

If you are trained to work in both sales and cashier, you don't have much of an option to work both, stuck in cashier position. Really hard to move upwards from there.
