Pros

Fairly easy job for the most part. Fellow employees make the job better. You don't need any experience for working here.

Cons

Some managers are unfair to employees. Very, very trashy looking store, makes it embarrassing to say you work there. Managers tend to make work harder than it should be. Not enough hours to go around. Absolutely no training offered.

Pros

Management is very thoughtful and gives time off when needed. If you do a good job praise and promotions are easy to get. Management (at least at my store) was caring and willing to help in any way they could. Other employees made the job fun. Management was fun and approachable.

Cons

Never busy...could sometimes get very boring. We never had more than 2-3 customers in the store at a time and VERY often went hours with no customers at all. I had a number of full 6 hour shifts with no customers. The back room was VERY dirty and slightly unsafe for employees. Some shoes in the back were on the top shelf and there was no ladder available that could reach them...you had to climb the shelves.
