Stable company but low pay

Pros

- flexible scheduling if you are a valued employee - low stress environment - regular weekly routines with clear expectations

Cons

- typical starting wage is minimum wage - opportunities for raises are not very frequent and marginally insignificant when they do come (Several time I've had only 10 cent raises for 6 month periods, even after receiving "outstanding" reviews)

Pros

You learn a lot about the company. -You know your days of the week by what you do. Thrusday truck, Friday ad set, Saturday show flip - where you take the shoes from the floor and you move them to the next side.

Cons

A lot of favortism. If your coming from a different background they looked down upon

Pros

At the time, they paid a little bit more than minimum wage for a simple cashier position. There was room for advancement.

Cons

Poor management, sexist, unorganized sales.
