      Pros

      Great opportunity to develop a diverse career path. Mobility between other Bayer companies. Stable and conservative, not prone to market fluctuations.

      Cons

      Doesn't take a very progressive approach to alternate 'work-life" solutions such as on-site day care and work-at-home. Decisions are made slowly. Upward career mobility is slow.

      Cons

      - Poor leadership and decision making as regards the medical device business. - Morale is extremely low and there is little belief in the future of the former Medrad organization. -

      Pros

      Most of the people are great to work with and will share knowledge and experience. Benefits are fantastic.

      Cons

      Management is disconnected from the people doing the actual work. They lack understanding of the processes used and challenges faced day to day. Salary is lacking in my division. Other business lines make significantly more, probably because we are not a money making entity therefore not as valuable. Employee development is promised but not delivered. Favoritism is very evident. Poor performers are not held accountable.
