Pros

Pay and discounts are great, employee recognition from corporate is amazing they care and want to hear from the stores. Work life balance is way better than most companies. Products are fun,

Cons

Most of the Store managers are lazy and sit in the backroom for most of the day but take credit for the co-managers and sales leads hard work. Room for advancement is slim due to the fact that most store managers and district managers have been with the company for a long time and are comfortable in their roles. In general there is a lot of gossiping. I personally am a deidcated and hard worker but am very true to who I am and because I am not a gossiper who likes to be fake to the people around me I am precieved to have low confidence when I can run circles around 95% of the people that work in my area. A lot of people in this company talk a lot of game but do not produce but continue to work here because they can talk the lingo and some dms dont think to look past the words and analyze the business.

Pros

It's a fun place to work and you can try out all the great products. You occasionally get samples of new and upcoming products. Plus, great discounts at stores owned by Limited Brands. The group interview process was unexpected, but it gave you a chance to see where you stood among your competition.

Cons

I was really disappointed after being hired and then only working two 4-hour shifts within the month following. The call-in scheduling is ludicrous and irritating. I had to avoid planning anything as I might have to work. The one time I made plans was the only time I had to go in due to a call-in shift. Often when I worked, it was the same few people working alongside me. Curious, I checked the number of people on the email list, there were at least 45-50 people. Bath & Body needs to get their act together and create a better system of schedule management.
