Pros

Discount, an getting to work in your jeans and a T-shirt is comfortable.

Cons

Pay was horrible, they keep with promise of advancement however that was never delivered. I interviewed for management position. Passed the first two interviews, on the last interview with the DM; it was explained to me that as long as my sales per hour were up to par, I would be move into management. I was consistently top 3 for 6 months, in that time period they promoted two other manager one with no experience and the other only with "managing a daycare?". After the second promotion I left.

Pros

free stuff occasionally, got to really know the products and their use

Cons

really force you to hound every customer even if they say "just looking" and don't want to be bothered. they expect you to to know every little thing about somebody even if theyre not interested, and recommend a million products. great if you like up selling and retail (even though there's no commission yet they expect you to meet a sales goal every hour, and day plus a personal transaction goal and if you don't meet them, they really make you feel crappy for not doing good enough)

Pros

The starting pay is awesome! They start everyone out at $12 an hour now and also starting to offer some benefits to part time employees. There are full benefits and bonuses for full time employees. You learn a lot about customer service and the products. The training is wonderful! It is easy to move up in the company.

Cons

It’s not guaranteed full time unless you’re a store manager, assistant manager, or store supervisor. Even the key holders and top sellers don’t get full time. It kind of sucks being a part of management and don’t receive the same treatment as the other three management members. Full time employees also get better discounts. Key holders and top sellers are also expected to have open availability so don’t take the position if you can’t afford to only work part time. I also get ridiculed for my management style, and I didn’t appreciate the company forcing me to change my management style. I would understand if I was a terrible manager, but I rarely had complaints for the way I coached my associates.
