Large company, lots of opportunity, good salaries, a meritocracy as opposed to the "it's who you know" approach to promotion that I've seen in other companies.

Cons

Can be very bureaucratic, to the point of getting in the way of doing the right thing.

Easy to transfer internally, great London presence, excellent quality staff (both grads and non-grads)

Cons

Systems are a bit behind the market, certain products not easy to sell, interview process can be incredibly long-winded (I am in the process of applying for an internal position and have had around 8-10 hours of interviews so far!)

Brand name, good money, good location, very competent co workers, very diverse work and opportunities to grow are very high

Cons

Long working hours because of which work life balance takes a toll. Bein a bank, it also requires that you cannot work from home much because of data confidentiality, so flexibility is lost a bit
