      Great culture and values, better opportunity and life balance. Perfect setting for a dynamic cultural and social life. Perfect teams of people striving to create Baker Tilly the best it can be but also living a socialable like with collegues.

      Cons

      Smaller city provides less than most but still an overall amazing community to live and work.

      Pros

      Lots of opportunity to be involved in work that is challenging and will help you grow professionally. There is a small firm feel with the resources of a big firm, and I have experienced tremendous flexibility and autonomy in being able to adapt my work schedule around my personal life. Pay is very competitive and raises and promotions are given to those that have earned it. The firm sponsors several activities to support charitable causes and they are supportive of networking & social events for team members.

      Cons

      Public accounting requires long hours during certain times of year, and ParenteBeard is no different. There have been some growing pains and uncertainly over the last couple of years, but ultimately, most of the change has been for the better.

      Divisive management. No true focus on "client service".

      Pros

      Fair compensation and benefits. Upper management is accessible but not receptive to employee input. Quality of life is fair at best.

      Cons

      Typical "big firm" mentality as to non-concern for fair treatment of their employees. No regard for the impact on employees for termination based on their closing offices.
