      Pros

      - Salary is paid every month on the specified time frame - They search the jobs for you so you don't have to do that - In my case, I work from home. They give you latitude to make your own hours as long as you are available to the client in their business hours. - You an assigned manager that acts as an interface between you and the company. I've worked with three different ones so far, and all have been positive experiences. - They pay in US dollars

      Cons

      - Salary is not up to the industry standard for my country (Brazil). - Although I had a raise after one year, I thought it was very little (100 dollars raise) - Depending on the project you might not get the sense of being part of the company - Very little contact with them, apart from Manager and sometimes the Recruiter.

      Company is not totally honest with employees

      Pros

      - Payments are always on time; - Company continues to pay you if a project is over until another project appears within one month;

      Cons

      - Company hides crucial information from their employees. The company I worked decided to hire another consulting company. They communicate me 60 days before, but BairesDev insisted that this was not true until the final days. - BairesDev receives from customers three times what they pay for developers.

      I was frequently berated and held to impossible standards.

      Pros

      The salary was decent. There were few other pros.

      Cons

      I did not receive feedback, except when my managers felt I was doing something wrong. My manager failed to prioritize--he would tell me that everything was high priority, and when I guessed wrong (or even when he told me a project could be put on the back burner), he would gaslight me and berate me for not reading his mind. I received no support when I was dealing with personal challenges. Management is noncommunicative except when they want to blame someone.
