Pros

Offer some work-life balances which you couldn't find it in many local banks but it also depends highly on the projects/jobs you work on.

Cons

The management uses ungracious tactics to remove employees during economy downturn to avoid giving compensations for former layoffs or retrenchment. They would first appraised the employee unfairly with the lowest rating even though the employee didn't deserve the low rating. And that they would mention during the appraisal review session that your rendering of work in this company is insignificant and they have no better position to offer you to work in and if you choose to remain working in your current position, you'll be subjected to monthly performance scrutiny.

Pros

- Good exposure to transactions - You get to meet and work with people from many different teams - Colleagues are friendly and helpful

Cons

- Team leaders are not strong enough to communicate their thoughts to other teams - Trust issues with team management (you will have to keep looking over your shoulder) - Work is long (mostly because of inefficient processes) - Don't expect to be taught much/properly, you're thrown in the deep end - Increment is weak; bonuses are poor (1-2 months)

Pros

- Good WLB - Good working environment - Work can be interesting at times if you are in the right department

Cons

- If you are planning to do the Graduate Programme, just know that you will remain an analyst for 5 years until you leave. - Increment does not even match to inflation rates. - 0 Growth opportunities after/during programme (2 years). The only thing you will get is a certificate of completion. - HR is a BIG issue in the organisation.
