      Pros

      Compensation and benefits are good. The Cafe is great. The company is generous with travel allowances; good hotels and good restaurants are not a problem.

      Cons

      Impatient managers. The company seems to be run by Development and Drilling, everyone else is just a bit player. Little appetite exists to challenge this.

      Pros

      - Extremely smart people - Largely people you would have a beer with, although it has changed a lot - Very large company - Solid finances - Can't be fired unless you really screw up

      Cons

      - Focus solely on process and not on transactions that make business sense - Extremely risk averse - Arrogant towards customers, suppliers, and employees - Aims to make robots out of every employee - No talent management, HR is purely an administration department - Absolute zero flexibility on contracts (with customers AND employees)
