      Pros

      BHP Billiton is a great company to work for. My ex co-workers were very helpful, as well as the managers within my team. I truly enjoyed working at this company with all the great benefits and perks that the company offered.

      Cons

      Due to the reduction in the workforce, I think it could have been handled a little better than planned during the 1 phase of the transition. It was a complete shocker to be told you no longer have a job.

      Being able to move around in the business Nice offices, view Great people

      Cons

      Red tape. Can be a nightmare getting the simplest of things done, e.g. creating a new vendor. The compliance rules are applied not taking into consideration materiality or logic. You can sometimes be handballed around to so many people, you end up being handballed back to the original person you queried - noone is willing to stand up and help you, or maybe it's so convoluted noone even knows the answer any more.
