      There are better oil and gas companies out there. BHP isn't one of them!

      Pros

      *worked with a new division - onshore department *can learn a lot from other coworkers *very fair pay and great benefits * 9/80 schedule

      Cons

      *the company doesn't get onshore - it's not the same as offshore. The rules are different *how many contractors can you hire and fire in one week? It's a very common practice *no one knows what they are doing because they lack direction. *try to get permissions to do any work is impossible

      Company does not seem to care about employees. Felt like I did not matter. Right hand does not know what left hand is doing.

      $2 Lunch Benefits Pay equivilent to industry Overall peers are friendly to each other

      Cons

      Office spaces (cubicles) are half wall glass, approximately 4'x4'. Managers are not up to par, mostly out of their comfort zone or expertise. Very top down management style, if you are not a manager you have trouble being heard.
