Way too many line mangement changes...

Pros

Great pay and eoy bonus, good working conditions and some nice and friendly (those outside the BHP culture).

Cons

Great pay and bonus at a very high price to pay. Too many layers of management, top and line management changes are unreal (had 7 supervisors in 3 years) and lots of unexperienced managers and first line supervisors; KPI changes by the minute resulting in unfair eoy evaluations. Lots arrogant senior mangers that preach open door policy but refuse to practice it.

Pros

Competitive salary. Nice bonus. Great health insurance. $2 lunch but the food quality has gone down. gym subsidies is pretty cool.

Cons

If you are a hard worker more gets piled on you, while others walk around acting like they are super busy. Respect for employees is very low and in turn has made moral very low. They don't want to be called a sweat shop, but that is how they are running things. No such thing as work life balance. You just have to walk out the door at your time and let them judge. Too many hot headed young managers that don't know how to manage. They have their favorites and if you aren't in the know, then you are nothing. Not everyone has the same rules so it is very unfair. Don't complain that there are issues. It's a waste of breathe. If you are the work horse then that is just how it is.

Pros

Great pay and benefits- unlimited sick days, free health care, 9/80 every other Friday off. If you're just looking for a nice paycheck you'll love it.

Cons

Long term outlook for the business isn't good. Too many processes. Systems get in the way of accomplishing meaningful work. Too much change for the sake of change. NO RAISES, just COL. HR arrogance. Deadbeat employees not held accountable.
