Cons

You start at a low salary and only get 2% raises so it takes a really long time before you are making anything decent and livable in NYC. Depending on your manager, you will get random tasks that have nothing to do with the job you were hired for. A lot of people get hired and hope to switch to another department that better suits their interest or skills but never see that day happen. (*HR will tell new hires that they can always apply for new positions if they don't like their current one which gets people to stick around but then leave after a year or 2 if they are not able to switch, causing a huge turnover rate)
