All directors and upper management are super control freaks. Employees are extremely micro-managed. To give you an idea of how the company micromanages their employees: The COO himself was given access by the building management to the security cameras outside the building and he is on constant watch from his office computer for how long employees spend outside on cigarette breaks or conversations. The COO!!! Directors get detailed reports on how long your computer is idle or locked and can also tap in to spy on your computer. They also get reports on the length of your phone calls. There's no room for significant growth in the company. Salaries are literally a joke. They pay you just enough to barely survive, regardless of your position and responsibility. No 401k matching. If you filter by "Left The Company" in the internal employee phone directory, the list is tremendous. It's roughly 1000 employees that left in a span of about 6 or 7 years, while they employ about 1400 people. A huge majority of employees are not happy working there. It's the constant topic of discussion at B&H - how depressed and unhappy we are and how we have to get out of there as soon as possible. In summary, it's a very sad place to work.
