      Pros

      It could be worse, you could be in a concentration camp.

      Cons

      Three years rnaked by Avaya as a top performer, never one bonus. Avaya always has reasons for not paying bonuses. In two years, with forced unpaid furlough of two weeks, I didn't even earn my base salary. The HR department was outsourced to India, so having anything done as an employee is impossible. Highly political organization with little room for advancement due to constant layoffs.

      Great coworkers and interesting clients

      Cons

      Upper management has no idea what anyone does and believes "rightsizing" is the only solution to any problem, you may be laid off even when there is plenty of work to do. Whoever is left behind will be stuck working 80+ hour weeks to keep up. Coworker who was there 40 years got 4 weeks of severance, shameful treatment of someone who was so dedicated.

      There are a few good people left, most were laid-off or have left.

      Cons

      CEO hands down is the biggest Con, he came in with big turn around promises, but it all turned out to be lies. He pumped up the employees, then dumped on them.
