Senior management does not seem to value customer facing staff Since the company went private, leadership overhauled and clique took over

Pros

Avaya does have good pay and benefits. They also have good educational benefits. The work is challenging, if you are into the technical work.

Cons

Avaya is eating itself from the inside out. They have owners and management that does not have a clue about a telecommunications business. They have cut their customer facing workforce in the USA to the bare minimum. Pressure is unbelievable. Now they have squished everyone to one floor.

Pros

-Good benefits -Good people -Good work/life balance -Great mid level managers -Finally hiring more people/resources

Cons

-Too many forced Furlough days -stopped paying for internet and phone to cut costs -Had to look for other jobs due to lack of focus in my area of the business -Sales pay plan is paid on sliding scale, ie 75% of quota only pays 50% of at risk pay
