      Pros

      Pay and benefits are excellent. Depending on the organization you work in, the work environment can be great, but depends on the organization.

      Cons

      Too much focus on the EBITDA. This drives everything at Avaya. Not that kind of focus is bad, they are in business to be profitable, but the focus on this part of the business trumps everything else form enployee moral to customer satisfaction.

      Good salaries and benefits with open communication and info sharing from management. Progressive company with new products and ideas. Strives to excel in all fields.

      Cons

      You have to be careful of reorgs where you can get lost in the shuffle. Working remotely can be convenient but engage in face to face activity whenever possible.

      You are only as good as your last month/week at all times - this company does do layoffs, so prove your worth constantly or face the chopping block.
