      Poorly Run, but so far they seem to be holding their own in the market

      Pros

      Pay and benefits are pretty good Coworkers are friendly and capable

      Cons

      Senior Management doesn't seem to have a clue, but I suspect they do and only care about positioning the company for the IPO and not long term growth and stability. Hopefully once they IPO the senior leadership will leave and real leaders will come in. This place is VERY silo-ed. People only care about their silo and not how it affects the overall company. Coming from a stable & structured company it has been very difficult to get used to this environment.

      Pros

      The salaries are high and money is good if you perform to management expectations. The company has a focused product roadmap.

      Cons

      The company is inwardly focused on meeting/exceeding financial objectives to achieve ROI expectations. Avaya may have lost the focus on customer requirements in some sectors.
