Pros

It's a very collaborative and engaging enviroment, gives you the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the world, with several offices to stop by and work from there. Salaries are good, quite competitives at least in Argentina. I like the culture, they are pioneers of the job market its main benefit is flexibility, as long as you're responsible and do what you have to do, you can work whenever you want from wherever you are. But also don't expect someone handles you a list of tasks, you have to find where you can help on your own and prove yourself valuable for the product's development. In my opinion, it's a great product as well and I like that all the company is hands on working on developing one great product, as opposed to other software factory companies. It gives you the possibility to explore other roles as well, and contributing with your own ideas is always welcomed.

Cons

There aren't clear 'career paths'. Management and talent management aren't really helpful in developing a career, you need to figure it out by yourself It's a universe on its own, mostly internal tools and self-developed technology. You need to learn all of these before being able to do something useful, which is a competitive disadvantge if you then want to work for another company

Hi, thanks a lot for your feedback! We’re happy to know you value the work environment and culture we foster. Regarding career development, it's true that there's no one established career path, and it precisely has to do with the flexibility we like to foster: we provide Avaturians with the necessary tools and as many opportunities as possible for them to build their career paths in their own unique way, always with the support and guidance of Talent Management and leadership who we see as fundamental pillars to enable this. Still, as everything at Avature, career development is always evolving and we welcome your feedback to continue improving. If you want to discuss your career path, do not hesitate to contact the Talent Management team — we’d love to talk!
