Pros

Room to learn and grow from the Business standpoint. Good benefits, Flexible hours, Company's vision for green initiatives and sustainability, Work/life balance.

Cons

Managerial incompetence, unnecessary politics, unfair and unjust in promotions, bad hiring process, driven by favoritism rather than hardwork.

Pros

Detailed benefits, flexible working hours.

Cons

Unfair and unjust rewards and promotions. Lack of 'punishments' when projects and/or work were clearly bad. Lack of clear directions and instructions most of the time. Data integrity is a big issue. From my experience, project managements have been really bad and wrong people are rewarded most of the time - this is setting very very bad examples to the rest of the more productive staffs.

Pros

Autodesk provides the benefits of a large company: good benefits and a stable work environment.

Cons

There is no clear (or any?) path for career advancement. Of course, like so many companies, the vast majority of new hires have been in Shanghai. With no influx of junior programmers, there is not much opportunity for advancement. At least in our development organization, the hierarchy is very shallow. There are very few managers. Most "senior" software engineers comprise a team of one.
