Pros

Excellent work/life balance. Well resourced and encourages some moderate risk taking by employees at all levels.

Cons

Lots of middle management in-fighting. Culture has been diluted with various acquisitions and assimilated companies have disrupted Autodesk's unique culture causing rifts and competitive product teams within the same organization, allowing competitors to gain ground.

Pros

Excellent work-life balance, a feeling that you are really helping the world, competent and effective management who values results as well as relationship building.

Cons

In a technology based job market of outrageous IPO's, 100% growth, and a global look, the compensation is under market for technology. Partly to blame for head-count bloat outside of core-competency.

Pros

Outstanding products, great mission, great colleagues. Has the potential to be a dream company.

Cons

Dissonance between stated and practiced values and mission that ripples though a team. There are Sr. Managers and Directors that are contractors. I've seen negative effects from unintended consequences on FT Managers and Specialists who are their reports.
