Pros

Great coworkers, fantastic benefits package and flexible schedule. The benefits and flexibility are hard to beat. They also like to promote from within so there is tons of room for growth in the company. Fantastic company to begin with and learn what a good benefits package is like.

Cons

The pay is not the best, base pay fluctuates a ton. You might have to email payroll to make sure you are getting the correct pay for your level of education and experience.

Pros

Work with disabled adults, work directly with your community. It is far more emotionally and spiritually rewarding to work here as opposed to a big box corporation. There are other benefits that can come from social services for example, a loan forgiveness program through the federal government, not to mention a tuition reimbursement program.

Cons

Due to state of Illinois budget, pay rates and hours are not very good. Very difficult to have overtime.
