Pros

Ski pass, which can be revoked if you have bad behavior. Sometimes (not always guaranteed) you are granted a ski break if you requested it. A supervisor will come and cover your position while you ski for an hour. The ski break is unpaid. You do get to meet people from all over the world. Sometimes there is housing which you have to pay for, but it's less than in town prices. There is an employee discount at a couple of expensive places (they are all expensive), 50% while working (again you in this position cannot leave your station during lunch so..., and I think it was 15% off work at select places, for select things* You also cannot be in uniform when you are eating, or drinking alcohol on the property even if you are off work. The company is really great, and they do try and take care of their employees. There are plenty of departments to choose from and each one has their own vibe.

Cons

It's very cold, the work can be redundant and boring. Lunch break is unpaid. You cannot leave your station during lunch so you have to bring lunches with you. You cannot wear your uniform home (unless to wash it, with permission), so you need to invest in just as warm ski pants, and a parka ect. al. If they don't see your uniform in the locker they think you are still on the mountain and in danger, so it's a safety thing. Complete and total 1000% intolerance for ever being late. You will get written up. If it's your first day and you are late prepare to sign a warning sheet. Three write ups, say you forget and wear your uniform home, it's a write up and you are fired. Which is interesting seeing as how much they need good people to stay and work throughout the entire season...
