      Pros

      Hands off management style allows flexibility in job.

      Cons

      Leadership is seemingly interested in retirement vs. making the company better. Someone has to die or leave in order for you to get promoted.

      Striving to be one of "The Best Companies to Work For", Shared falls just a little short.

      Pros

      Excellent co-workers and local management. Great communication between 1st and 2nd level management, field personnel and sales. Customer feedback could be brought back to the office and acted upon ASAP.

      Cons

      C-level management didn't seem to have a realistic sense of the market or where the company fit in that market. Training on new technologies was mostly only available as CBTs on you own time. The sense of having the power to positively impact the customers experience diminished as time went on, as it was obvious that time spent on customer sites was being tracked.

      I am disappointed on how Arrow treats employees when they outsource jobs.

      Pros

      they offer decent vacation compared to other companies. they do acquire smaller companies to gain customers. they are expanding into Asia.

      Cons

      they will support outsourcing their IT positions to people who cannot do the job needed. they will look only at the cost savings in the short term instead of long term IT support domestically.. they have lost a lot of knowledgeable people in their IT groups, in trade for India cheapness.
