Pros

Company well grounded in the distribution business and growing all the time. Benefits are good. Facilities are nice. Trying to make a household brand name for public recognition.

Cons

Management has strayed from recognizing their greatest asset...their people. Few avenues for advancement unless you know someone. Lateral moves available but no raise in pay. Has not been a pay raise in more than 5 years. Work is very tactical and redundant. Heavy work loads due to regular turnover and little effort to replace what is lost with quality hires. Very little team building and encouragement to work together. Just a come-and-punch-in-work-and-punch-out environment. There was not even the courtesy of an exit interview when I left after 9 years of service.

Pros

The people are wonderful - hard working, loyal, knowledgeable. Incredible talent locally. Tech industry very healthy and exciting to work in.

Cons

Such a big company, difficult to navigate or make changes very easily. Leadership talks about innovation but internal processes are very manual and "old-school". Pay and benefits are not competitive at all anymore.

Pros

A lot of good people to work with

Cons

preaches life balance but there isn't any except for management and sales........years without raises.......claims no money then annually would spend buying up companies right before annual reviews are due.................sorry no money left. Way too top heavy in VP's- how many you really need? Constantly lays off in the DC and programming depts. then rehires new temps as demand dictates. Loses trained people and again spends a fortune to late too train because the order volume already hit. Not interested in keeping trained experienced people during business downturn cycles. Hiring wage for entry level is too low for what is expected of people. Programming requires a different (higher) skill set than the DC operators...starting pay should be a buck higher. Theres Horrible order forecasting..................no method to check necessary equipment, supplies, and people before sales commits it to customer. Very little advancement possible in logistics..
