As a Senior Production Technician, I had a very rewarding and exciting job experience, knowing we where #1 in quality.

Always have new challenges and issue to solve and work out. When we worked as a team we were the best in the business.

Cons

Due to company cut backs, Arrow had to consolidate it's production areas into one. Moving all IBM production and services to Cleveland, OH.

Pros

Life/work balance, at least with my manager. Can take time off and work from home as needed. Decent amount of time off, which is good because you will need it due to the high stress.

Cons

No raises in 4 of last 5 years, stock grants were cut for two years and now permanently, all the while the company made over $2 Billion in profits. High stress jobs, especially in sales. Constantly having more work dumped on people. Unattainable sales budgets, which means the money you can "make" is virtually impossible to reach.Lots of people quit and many looking for other jobs.
