Pros

- Nice new building - Cafeteria is good - high quality fellow accountants

Cons

Oh my let's start the list - No work/life balance - Clueless middle management - Merit increases were a joke - No room for promotion unless you were a "golden child" suck up - Layoffs and threats of losing your job, lost so many good people in 2017 - Increased workload because of layoffs - The best workers seemed to turnover in high number in 2016-2017 and replaced with young kids straight of college - Toxic upper management, absolutely no vision that supports the employees and their career development, makes you wonder what they are being paid for. - Benefits were absolutely terrible, no tuition reimbursement, CEO made comment that "I am not in the business of educating people" when asked about a TR program, most are sure his tuition was covered for his advanced degree in the 80's. - Unrealistic expectations on deadlines, many nights working until almost midnight during a close period.

Pros

Work from home, nice building, gym, next to light rail.

Cons

Management cares more about jumping through the regular insane flaming hoops partners demand than their employees. Wfh is an offered perk in some departments, but get ready to put in blood sweat and tears to earn it with any consistency. Hostile peer behavior is tolerated as long as the work gets done. Arrow is only concerned about their image as long as it can impact partners and customers. Internal image be damned. Those who have been employed at Arrow 10 years + are granted higher level positions regardless of Pertinent knowledge to the role or management skills. If you’ve endured the Arrow ways or played the corporate games long enough, they’ll promote.

Pros

Why is no one talking about this?Arrow just layed off a lot of people. Seemed like a great place to be, at first. But politics and managers playing favorites changed all that.

Cons

Layoff happened yesterday, people with 20+ years were let go. Apparently it all comes down to who you know whether you are still employed today or not. Morale is extremely low, which is no big surprise.
