POOR CAREER CHOICE!

Pros

Benefits are competitive with region. If you are French, you will have a great opportnuity for advancement. The company still retains a couple of token US employees as "yes men" in senior management roles to act as communicators to the local employees and customers.

Cons

Since 2007, senior management initiated a program to replace loyal experienced employees with cheaper lower cost newbies and run the company from France. US employee moral is very low and customer relationships and satisfaction in the US have sunk to extreme lows. Turn over is very high.....

Pros

Good salary, decent benefits, intelligent and friendly peers, opportunity to travel and become a part of a global organizations

Cons

Lack of training, All decision are made out of France, US management only cares about themselves, promotions are not based on performance, they are simply based on politics. You get a solid feeling that no one cares about you or your health and that you are only a number.

Pros

Decent salary, tuition reimbursement. Some very good people on the front lines.

Cons

Run by incompetent yes men. Corporate nepotism / good ol boy club in full effect. Friends and family of upper management will advance despite being highly unqualified. Will not advance unless you kiss major butt or are French. Morale is non-existant. Management unwilling to change with the times. High turnover. Meetings about meetings of meetings. Blaming and shaming employees because things can't get done, but will not hire enough people to do the jobs the correct way. Only care that everything looks good on paper.
