      Pros

      Worked with very interesting people with all experience levels. Had the pleasure of working with some long time employees who really knew a lot about the chemical industry.

      Cons

      Have never seen a company more obsessed with safety, to the point of paranoia. If you are in a leadership position, watch out because you will definitely get hammered for anything safety related, even if it was something that senior management was aware of.

      Pros

      Good environment to learn, some good people. Good benefit package.

      Cons

      Managers are too much into micromanagement. Annual performance review is unfair and does not reflect the employees' real performance. Promotion is very slow and involves politics.

      Pros

      The company is financially well managed and expands globally. Arkema Inc. seems a little more meritocratic than the French headquarters.

      Cons

      The CEO trusts no one but himself. He is surrounded by people who resemble him and treat their own staff the same way, with a touch of French arrogance. Do not expect that career advancement would go with performance, it goes with politics.
