Flexible hours. There were many long timer who placed their hearts in the work they do.

Cons

Creativity was being killed unnecessarily. The great Aristocrat culture perhaps almost got destroyed completely by greed of certain directors or brilliant jerks; managers were puppets of their supervisors and could only look after themselves.

Nice on the outside, not so nice on the inside

Pros

Food, parties, lots of nice looking press releases, benefits and pay are standard for the area.

Cons

Departments don't talk, employees and managers are stuck with little vertical movement which leads to tremendous frustration and departmental resentments. Despite all the talk about taking care of people HR does little and people live in fear of getting fired. If you're looking for some place to get into gaming, this is likely just as good as any place else. Don't expect to grow here, just do your work, take your Xanax and try not to upset anyone that might come after you. Once you think it's time to move on, trust your gut and get out.

Heavily Siloed, Highly Political, Negative Culture

Good compensation Nice working facilities including a subsidized cafeteria Employee events 401k matching

Cons

Silos exist between nearly all departments; no one talks to each other, resulting in customer dissatisfaction I have never seen so much political posturing and game-playing in my life A lot of people with very large salaries sitting around with "big visions," getting nothing done.
