Sometimes managers are so obsessed with how staff look to the public that they forget that we have feelings too. I suffer with depression and anxiety. Alongside bi polar Deisese. A customer recent called me "a pointless, worthless and stupid person, that doesn't deserve to be here" I tell myself those words every day, I fight the urge to harm myself everyday because I feel WORTHLESS, To hear it from someone else got too much and I broke down. I was told to calm down, the customer was apologised to on my behalf. A woman that VILE should be told to LEAVE AND never come back. She could've pushed me over the edge with those comments and if it had been a few month before she may well have done just that. Staff are paid to be friendly, to help. We are not paid to have randomers tell us horrible things that make us question who we are, and why we're here. I don't think I'll be able to continue working at Argos, I am an Xmas temp and after today I'm sure I will be let go. It's not fair and it's not right.

Argos do not treat their staff right whatsoever. My store lost 14 staff in 4 weeks due to management changes and no one knew whether they were coming or going. Staff were put upon all the time as they were under staffed leaving the remaining staff ticked off and very unhappy!
