Pros

Thorough training provided prior to start and on the job. Flexible working hours. Offered permanent position upon contract end.

Cons

Working in the stockroom is quiet, lonely and very hard work during busy times. Often required to lift heavy items by myself.

Managers constantly pushing targets for argos cards and care Stressful - always being expected to do multiple jobs at once while managers stand around having a chat Rude customers Unapproachable managers Not much opportunity to work overtime I was on a temporary contract that was renewed each month and was once made to sign it whilst serving a customer without a chance to read it Poor training - I was only trained on tills, collection and jewellery and even this training was insufficient as I'd been trained by somebody who had only worked there for 2 months
