There are opportunities to advance to management internally, there is a lot of flexibility in hours and most times can be work to accommodate you as far as there is prior notice. There is also different roles to fit different personalities and also to gain experience in different sections of the store.

Cons

management need to find more creative ways to motivate staff and also to hear what the staff may feel is missing from the store.

variations in job with in the company, benefits, better salary, ten percent staff discount, canteen and locker facility, 4 weeks paid holidays

Cons

less transparency of rules, less/no motivation or rewards for stockroom employees but there are rewards for shop floor employees which makes stockroom employees less motivated and unhappy after their hardwork on picking and delivery, hot chat with manager means ruining your chances of getting your desired holiday weeks and also no overtime (even if you are right) as my contract is cancelled after small thing by stating that I didn't call manager when I was away for a surgery however I had already given a doctor note that I need an urgent surgery . I was feeling like, this is my reward after working 5-6 years for the company, manager even didn't give any last warning

this company value the hard working employees and help if any staff member got any problem.

Cons

if the delivery come late. the delivery boys are not paid for the wait . even if it is a 3 hour wait . the boys are on stand by for free
