Enjoyable- Good introduction into Retail

Good company ethos Friendly, helpful management- would go out of their way to ensure happiness of all staff Lots of career progression opportunities

Cons

As a part-time member of staff, I felt that I was not rewarded for my hard work and commitment and was contacted too few hours contracted a week- had to rely on overtime

Pros

Employee discount 10% at argos and 20% at homebase, great rewards website with loads of benefits, great if you need part time but good also if your willing to put in the effort you can get more hours. Easy to get a job over peak Christmas period, always varied and loads to do. Customer are generally happy to shop there as oppose to going Tescos etc. Great incentive for customer service with love2shop vouvhers. Friendly team

Cons

Sometimes asked to stay on late unpaid but this is most of retail industry, sometimes very difficult as customers do not like return policy

Pros

Staff discount. Friendly staff. Stores are all interlinked so if you can't help customers then chances are another store in the area can.

Cons

To get up in company in my experience you need to be quite friendly with the management and then area management. Middle Management and Supervisors aren't trained properly.
