The people in Argos is one of the reasons I stay. The current management are amazing regarding if you have any issues or need time off.

Cons

Only work weekends so I'm normally lucky to book any holiday on the weekends. I'm always closing the store on weeekends .

10% discount. Great if you are passionate around customers and great service.

Cons

No bonus. Poor wage/salary for the pressure your under. No consideration for working mothers. All customer advisors and management not valued by the company. Very hard graft, too much is expected from the employees.

Pros

Great ream to work with where we all help each other out. Wages are average for retail work. Management makes you feel appreciated for work well done

Cons

currently only working contracted hours (16) which is not good enough. We were told that it would only be for a couple of weeks but has gone on for 2 months now and I am looking for work elsewhere unfortunately. The hours allocated to our store are not distributed fairly amongst the staff with a select few getting more than the rest. At the moment there are in fact only 2 of us restricted to contracted hours while everyone else is on overtime. Totally unfair in my opinion
