Pros
Certain groups within Arcadis can be much better than the overall reputation they have. My group has been mostly awesome but Corporate isn't very involved in the day to day. Due to Arcadis being so large, I have had the opportunity to work on some awesome projects across America and even in other parts of the world. The far reaching influence of the company has truly helped me learn faster than I ever thought possible.
Cons
Corporate seems completely out of touch with the majority of the workers. They constantly push for more and more billable time while they send out emails claiming otherwise. But it continues to be the main metric on which everyone is evaluated. Many people who are terrible at their jobs but some how still manage to keep billable, will keep their jobs indefinitely. But others who are truly good at their jobs but happen to be unlucky because of their placement or group, they can't stay billable enough, will be let go without a second thought.
