Flexibility with regard to telecommuting Above average salary and benefits

Cons

Company culture is you have to work real hard and put in insane hours so you have a chance of surviving the next round of layoffs. The moral of individual contributors is at rock bottom and management has no idea how worn down their employees are. Career advancement is only for those in political favor with upper management; job performance is not a factor.If your not one of the favored you are a cog in the system. Company locations in the US are ghost towns as a result of repeated layoffs and more work functions are moved off shore or outsourced.

Always in fire fighting mode Really poor upper management that over commits to customers, over-works and under compensates and poorly rewards the engineers Upper management is tone deaf to poor employee morale, and continuously swing from reckless hiring to downsizing

Great people, very good benefits, used to have good training programs.

Cons

The culture of the 90's and early 00's is long gone. Solar was a total waste of time, talent, and capital. The stock hasn't budged in 10 years, stock buy back - fail, dividend - fail, cash from $8B to $2B. What a train wreck.
