      Pros

      Applied has a lot of great scientists and engineers. It remains its leadership in material engineering and leading equipment supplier for semiconductor industries.

      Cons

      Too hierarchy, too many layers based on the company structure. It's difficult for upper management to hear ideas from front line employee.

      Pros

      Applied has good benefits, pay is very good, and they are the leader in the semiconductor equipment manufacturing industry.

      Cons

      As with any large enterprise there is a lot of bureaucracy and competing goals and teams. There is a lot of kingdom building especially at the VP to senior management level. Way too many VP's, senior directors and senior management. Not enough people to do the work.
