      Pros

      Industry leader; large organization that masks a lot of incompetence. There are good growth opportunities in the market place. Some of the engineers and general employees are really bright and do a fantastic job.

      Cons

      Bureaucracy, senior level incompetence, not nimble at all. In general decision making capabilities are limited. No discipline in many areas.

      Pros

      You'll have a wide exposure to many technical problems. With the right manager you can really dive into different areas. The company is relatively big so that there are opportunities in other business segments as well.

      Cons

      There can be a struggle for work-life balance. The bottom line is making a profit, no matter how well you do if you're not part of a great profit center then you are not a darling of management. I would also say moral has not been the best since I've joined the company (~5 years ago). Too many people are leaving and we are not drawing experienced people in to fill the losses.
