too many changes in management and directions

Pros

working in high tech industry and the company manufactures innovative products work life balance is good and the working environment is good as well

Cons

working in a very cyclical industry and the company had too many reorganizations and layoffs. Middle management changes too often causing the loss of consistant strategy and focus. Ineffective measurements of performance because directions keep changing and initiatives are not often carried through.

Biggest semi-conductor equipment provider, opportunity to travel, exposure to new skills, networking with other people in the industry, good support for education.

Cons

Communication between groups and within groups was lacking. Training of new hires in the systems and methodology of the company was poor. Culture was very divisive and antagonistic.
