      Pros

      Good pay. They don't expect you to work hard (a big minus as well).

      Cons

      The company is being out smarted and out innovated by its competitors and working inside the company you can see why.

      Pros

      IF you have a supportive manager you can get training, assistance and decent raises. I think upper management try to do what they think is best for the overall company.

      Cons

      Complete lack of cummunication, particularly in my group. Absolute division of people based on their level #. EA's are treated like furniture by most, not all, managers. They see us as completely interchangable. Way too many V.P's. Seems everyone hired in last year was made a VP. All mid level managers and up went through extensive "management training' and yet I see no difference. Also most folks, if they are being honest and not bogged down wiht being "pc" will say they are sick of the jobs shifting to Asia/India. And sick of the outsourcing our IT, HR, and benefits to Bangalore.

      Pros

      One of the best reasons to work at Applied are the quality of the coworkers. The company is full of intelligent, dedicated employees.

      Cons

      One downside is an overall culture of being last minute and reactive. Gets hard to deal with again and again.
