Pros

I love this company. They are amazing. They care about employees and they always are looking to improve.

Cons

Work-life balance can be an issue. We are an international company and basically never shut down. The pressure to stay up to the minute is real.

Pros

Fantastic location/office, competitive pay, supportive coworkers, challenging and impactful work from day one, lots of ability to move around and up based on performance. The fast paced environment in a dynamic industry keeps you busy at work due to the amazing and powerful brands you are working on and is a great career experience for younger people.

Cons

ABI is a finance company selling beer. There is no balance, work is life, including the social aspects of your life. The work is constantly putting out fires and not moving your position forward. There are very high expectations and lean teams which put pressure on speed and a lack of innovation. The KPIs drive actions that are not always aligned with the best intentions for the long term growth of the company and having young inexperienced graduates in higher positions often leads to a large learning curve and high position turnover. Due to this there is a lack of training and cross-functional communication because many new/moved employees must optimize their work and then leave before being able to fully impact in that role causing knowledge gaps. The C suite often leads with intimidation and gives little positive feedback on jobs well done. Overall time management with meetings is inefficient. The culture as a whole has become a churn and burn culture with a boys club/fratty atmosphere where the main form of communication is playful sarcasm.

Pros

I got a pay check.

Cons

This company gives the beer biz a bad name. Its churn and burn culture has the higest turnover for any beer company in US. If you have more than 1 month of work experience steer clear. AB has zero clear leadership hordes of new MBA's in leadership with litterally zero work experience who are at constant odds with their "system" read: older experienced staff. You will be expected to work 6-7 days a week with all nighters. With no chance of a Bonus. This is driven by the Brazallian culture of cut throat short sighted "leadership". KPI's are constantly changing and your potential to move up is based on an old boys club fraternity system and/ or being from South America.
